Just another cheap fast fashion company. Worse than Shein

Here's an idea: Why not just take $100 and put it in the trash directly to save at least the frustration and disappointment? I ordered three tank tops. Vertical seams were curved -- not on purpose -- and at around a 30 degree angle from vertical, going up the back and sides of the shirt. Fabric thin and see-through. I bought them to take to visit a friend in Paris. She couldn't believe "the sorry state of American clothing," and told me to throw them out. 2 hems completely and fully came out at the bottom edge after ONE wash (one of them took three washes, but come on!) I contacted Everlane. I sent pictures. They said,"We're going to need to you to send those back and see more," as if I'd made this up and faked the photos...? Really Everlane, it's so hard to believe my stuff fell apart when you know you're peddling trash? I was going to send them back, but at my own expense? No. I've had $10 cotton tees and tanks from Old Navy that were ten times better and lasted for years without looking like an Everlane tank after one wash. The ankle boots I bought ? Also garbage. Five wearings and I had to throw them out. I can't comment on the flats I ordered as those were summarily cancelled by EVRLN without notice. Grateful to have saved the money. Thanks, Everlane. This was my first experience based on a friend's rec -- and definitely my last. For suckers only.

Who is designing for Everlane and who…

Who is designing for Everlane and who decides that these frumpy, unattractive clothing and materials are a good idea? When they first started they were pure class! Now they sell t-shirts and ill fitting, frumpy, and uncomfortable clothing. I mean just look at their stock! Everything is either crop, boxy, too tight, too rigid, and balloon-y. You wanna empower women? Put them in better looking, better fitting clothes, and better materials.
8 years ago I bought a pair of pants that I wore to death. They looked like they were made for me and I have a pear body shape. it was my absolute favorite pair of pants. Now every single pants I try don't fit the hips, the waste gapes, legs are too short, too tight, etc etc.
I'm very sorry to say this but I can find better looking clothing and better materials elsewhere.
I say this again, their designs use to be pure class. They need better designers who actually understand how bodies work. They need to hire designers who have TASTE. Too bad Everlane! You USED to be good, now you're not!

Virtue signaling company that sells poor quality clothing at premium prices.

I've been buying from everlane since 2017. Sometime around 2018-2019 quality started decreasing and prices have gone up up up. Quality was never premium, but it was good enough. Now, almost every top I've purchased from them since 2019 has fallen apart with minimal wear. About 10 tops in total. Usually stitching fails, in some cases the material has had holes appear with only a few uses. I stopped purchasing from them because of this and one too many price hikes across the brand. Also, sizing and cut is so bad. Very short sleeves, and very boxie torsos. I am 6'2 200lbs and most long sleeves fit like 3/4 length t's, or was built as wide as a semi. C ya everlane, was fun while it lasted.

Bad fit

The 90s cheeky jeans I ordered are to big in the waist and to tight on the thighs. I reached out to customer service after I got them and they told me to try and sell them? They didn't offer to correct the situation at all. I will not be ordering from this site again

Poor quality, poor customer service

Had my jeans for 12 months and the zip has completely broken and the colour has faded. Emailed customer service who had no interest in helping. I paid £75 for the jeans and have paid half that price for jeans that have lasted many years. I read that Everlane was a sustainable brand.. 12 months doesn’t seem sustainable to me. I can see the same jeans are now over £100 online. I wouldn’t pay more than £25 for this quality and durability.

Fake ethical brand and subpar quality items

As with most companies they were great in the beginning however sold out and got greedy. Clothing is not what it used to be quality wise or ethics but women who obsess over the brand will claim everything is amazing… Listen to the honest reviews not overly gushy ones because they are written by people who just want to shop where their favorite influencer does! Except their favorite influencer doesn't actually love Everlane wither they just get paid to advertise. Sad…

Those good old days

Those good old days. Everlane was offering a great customer service, returns were easy, and textile quality was awesome.

However, in the last couple of orders, Everlane has become a pain for me. Untold charges, high costs of returns, and even refused returns for no reason.

I guess I will be moving on, remembering the old Everlane. Sad.

Their customer service is non existent. I am having same problem as you without resolve. I've given up. I hope you are able to resolve your issue. I've purchased from Everlane before -- and they were great. BUT I had no problems... I think the issues arise when something isn't right with the order or if the merchandise doesn't fit.

Everlane held onto my return without telling me for several days because I requested a refund NOT a store credit! Shameful! They will not be able to compete with all the reputable stores that get you the refunds right away and have live people to talk to at customer service!
